1. About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains how SALESSHURU SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED ("SalesShuru", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on https://www.salesshuru.com/ and in GrowthOS at https://growthos.salesshuru.com (the "Service"). It forms part of our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service; capitalised terms have the meanings given there.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. "Similar technologies" include local storage, session storage, pixels and scripts that store or read information on your device. In this policy we call all of these "cookies" unless we say otherwise.
- First-party cookies are set by us; third-party cookies are set by another provider.
- Session storage is deleted when you close your browser; persistent storage remains until it expires or you delete it.
3. Summary
- Analytics is cookieless. We use Plausible Analytics, which is cookieless, aggregate and privacy-friendly. It does not set cookies, does not collect personal data and does not track you across sites, so it runs without a consent prompt.
- No advertising or marketing pixels. We do not use the Meta Pixel, the LinkedIn Insight Tag, website visitor identification services or contact-enrichment services.
- Session-only visitor identifier. Our first-party visitor identifier is held in sessionStorage or in memory, not in a cookie or localStorage. It expires when your browser tab or session closes, is sent only to our own /events endpoint, and is never linked to your name or email (see Section 4.2).
- No cookie banner. Everything we use is either strictly necessary, cookieless, or session-only and not linked to you, so we do not show a cookie banner or ask for cookie consent.
- Your demo idea stays in your browser. See Section 5.
4. What we use on our website
4.1 Strictly necessary and cookieless (no consent needed)
| Item | Provider | What it does | Stores anything on your device? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Plausible Analytics | Plausible (third party) | Counts page views and traffic sources in aggregate. Loads when the page loads | No. Cookieless; no personal data; no cross-site tracking |
| Cloudflare Turnstile (when enabled on a form) | Cloudflare (third party) | Checks that a form is being submitted by a person, not a bot | It may read and store limited information in your browser to perform this security check |
These are needed to provide and secure the website you asked for, or do not store or read personal data on your device, so we do not ask for consent for them.
4.2 Session-only visitor identifier (no consent needed)
| Item | Provider | What it does | Data | Where it is held | How long |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| First-party visitor identifier | SalesShuru (first party), sent only to api.salesshuru.com/events | Helps us understand which pages and campaigns bring visitors during a visit | A random visitor identifier, plus the page path, referring page and UTM source | sessionStorage or in memory. No cookie and no localStorage | Expires when your browser tab or session closes |
This identifier is sent only to our own /events endpoint. It is never attached to sign-up or lead data, never linked to your name or email, and never shared with third parties. Because it is session-only and not linked to you, we do not ask for consent for it.
4.3 Only when you use them
| Item | Provider | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Cal.id booking widget | Cal.id (third party) | Lets you book a meeting with us. When the widget is loaded, Cal.id may set its own cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy policy |
| Website forms | SalesShuru, using Amazon SES to deliver emails | Sends your enquiry to us and any confirmation to you. Amazon SES does not set cookies in your browser |
| YouTube videos | Not used today | If we add a video, it will use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and load only when you click to play |
5. Local storage: the homepage live demo
If you type an idea into the live demo on our homepage, your typed idea stays only in your own browser's localStorage. It isn't sent to or stored on our servers.
| localStorage key | Set by | What it holds | Sent to us? | How long it stays |
|---|---|---|---|---|
gos_demo_idea_v1 |
SalesShuru (first party), on www.salesshuru.com | The idea you typed into the homepage live demo | Never. It stays only in your browser | Until you clear it |
Because this item only keeps what you typed so the demo works for you, and is never sent to us, it is strictly necessary for the demo you asked to use and does not need consent.
To clear it, clear the site data for www.salesshuru.com in your browser settings (for example, in Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Site settings → View permissions and data stored across sites), or use the demo's clear or reset option where one is shown.
6. In GrowthOS (the app)
GrowthOS uses strictly necessary storage in your browser to keep you signed in and to keep the Service secure. When paid plans are available, Razorpay checkout may set its own strictly necessary cookies for secure payment processing and fraud prevention. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies in GrowthOS.
7. Consent and your choices
7.1 No cookie banner. Apart from any cookies Cal.id sets when you use its booking widget (Section 4.3), we do not use non-essential cookies or similar technologies on our website, so we do not show a cookie banner. Plausible Analytics is cookieless and aggregate, and runs without a consent prompt. The visitor identifier in Section 4.2 is session-only and not linked to you.
7.2 Your controls. You can clear the homepage demo idea and any session data at any time by clearing your browser's site data for www.salesshuru.com, or by closing the tab.
7.3 New tools. If we ever add non-essential cookies, marketing pixels, visitor identification or contact enrichment, we will update this policy first and load them only after you opt in through a consent banner.
8. Managing cookies in your browser
Most browsers let you view, block and delete cookies and site data through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary items may stop sign-in, forms or checkout from working.
9. Third-party providers
Plausible, Cloudflare, Cal.id, Amazon Web Services (including Amazon SES) and Razorpay process information under their own terms and, where they act for us, as our Data Processors. They are listed in our Sub-processor List (coming soon). See the Privacy Policy, including the section on cross-border transfer.
10. Changes and contact
We will update this policy whenever we add or remove cookies or similar technologies, and ask for consent where required. Questions: admin@salesshuru.com. Privacy requests and grievances: Mayuri Deshmukh, Grievance Officer, grievance@salesshuru.com.
