1. About this disclaimer
1.1 GrowthOS uses artificial intelligence to help you turn ideas into product requirement documents (PRDs), backlogs, user stories and sprint plans. This disclaimer explains how AI Features work, what they can and cannot do, and how we handle your Inputs and Outputs.
1.2 It forms part of the Terms of Service (see Section 8 of the Terms) between you and SALESSHURU SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED ("SalesShuru", "we", "us"). Capitalised terms (including AI Features, Input, Output and Customer Content) have the meanings given in the Terms.
2. AI Output may be wrong: human review is required
2.1 AI Features generate Output automatically using statistical language models. Output may be:
- inaccurate or invented: for example, made-up facts, figures, market data, technical claims, libraries or APIs;
- incomplete or outdated: models may not know about recent events or your specific context;
- inconsistent: the same Input can produce different Output;
- biased: Output can reflect biases in the data the models were trained on;
- similar to Output produced for others: other Users may receive similar Output.
2.2 Output is a draft, not advice. PRDs, estimates, prioritisation, sprint plans and other Output are starting points to help your thinking. They are not legal, financial, regulatory, security, medical or other professional advice, and they are not a guarantee that a product will be feasible, compliant, secure or successful.
2.3 You must review Output before you use it. A qualified person on your team should review Output before you rely on it, share it, put it into production or make decisions based on it. This matters especially for anything touching security, privacy, legal compliance, pricing, or commitments to your own customers.
2.4 To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions you make based on Output without appropriate human review. This does not limit our responsibility for the Service itself under the Terms of Service.
3. Ownership: your Inputs and your Outputs
3.1 You own your Inputs. As between you and us, you (or your licensors) keep all rights in your Inputs and other Customer Content.
3.2 You own your Outputs. As between you and us, and to the extent permitted by law, you own the Output generated for you, and we assign to you any rights we may have in it. We cannot promise that Output is protected by copyright under Indian or other law, or that it does not resemble third-party material. You are responsible for checking Output before using it commercially (for example, for trademark or copyright conflicts).
3.3 Our limited licence. You grant us only the licence in Section 6.2 of the Terms of Service: to host, process and transmit Inputs and Outputs as needed to provide, secure and support the Service for you, to comply with law and to enforce the Terms. We do not claim any other rights in your Inputs or Outputs.
4. No training on your content (opt-in only)
4.1 No training. SalesShuru does not use your Customer Content to train or fine-tune AI models. This includes your Inputs and Outputs.
4.2 Opt-in only. If we ever offer a programme to improve models using customer content, we will describe it clearly and ask for your separate, express opt-in consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time as easily as you gave it, as described in the Privacy Policy. Withdrawal applies to content going forward.
4.3 What we do use. We may use aggregated, de-identified usage statistics that do not include your content (for example, how often a feature is used or how long a generation takes) to operate and improve the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Third-party model providers
5.1 AI Features are powered by third-party model providers:
| Provider | Model(s) used | Processing location | Provider retention of API data | Provider training on our data |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| To be updated before launch | To be updated before launch | To be updated before launch | Under the provider's business terms | Not allowed under the provider's business terms |
We use AI model providers only under business terms that do not allow them to use your Customer Content to train their models.
5.2 When you use an AI Feature, we send your Input and the relevant Customer Content needed for the request to the provider. The provider returns Output, which we store in your Workspace. Providers act as our sub-processors. We use AI model providers only under business terms that do not allow them to use your Customer Content to train their models. They are listed in our Sub-processor List (coming soon).
5.3 Providers may process data outside India. See the cross-border transfer section of the Privacy Policy.
5.4 We may change providers or models to maintain quality, cost or availability. Material changes to sub-processors follow the notification process in the Sub-processor List (coming soon).
6. What not to put into AI Features
Please do not include in Inputs:
- passwords, API keys, secrets or credentials;
- financial account or card details;
- health, biometric or government identity data;
- Personal Data of other people that you do not have a lawful basis to share; or
- confidential third-party information you are not permitted to disclose.
7. Responsible use
You must use AI Features in line with the Acceptable Use Policy, including the AI-specific rules in its Section 3.4. We may apply automated and manual safeguards (such as content filters and rate limits) to prevent misuse.
8. Synthetically generated information (IT Rules)
8.1 The Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Amendment Rules, 2026 (in force since 20 February 2026) place obligations on intermediaries whose resources enable the creation of "synthetically generated information". These include labelling, embedding metadata and preventing unlawful synthetic content.
8.2 As at the last-updated date, GrowthOS AI Features generate text (PRDs, plans and similar documents). Our current understanding is that the amended rules focus on synthetic audio, visual and audio-visual content. We will reassess, and add labelling or other measures where required, if we introduce image, diagram, audio or video generation or if the rules are interpreted to cover text. 8.3 Whatever the legal position, Output is created in GrowthOS as AI-assisted content, and you must not use it to deceive anyone about its origin where that would be unlawful or misleading.
9. Feedback on Output
If Output is harmful, offensive or clearly wrong, please report it using the in-app feedback option (where available) or by emailing admin@salesshuru.com. Reports about unlawful content go to our Grievance Officer as described in Contact and Grievance Redressal.
